Week 12- Zoom
Hi Everyone,
This will be my last post for this semester. I you all enjoyed exploring all of these web applications with me this semester. For my last post I chose an application that we all got to know very closely over this pandemic and that is Zoom. Zoom as most of you know is a way for people to video call and one person or many people. Zoom has many features that make it ideal for business and classroom conference calls. With the present feature you can present powerpoints to the whole conference call at the same time in an easy and seamless fashion. This is very important for class lessons. the teacher can present their lesson slides or video and conduct their lesson to the whole class at the same time. With the mute and unmute features teachers can control who talks and who doesn't this helps with disruptions and distractions. These are some flaws with Zoom as with any application. With technology there comes glitches such as dropped calls and audio problems. Nothing is perfect but during a pandemic where learning is remote having access to an application like Zoom is very helpful to teachers right now. Well that is all I have for you. I hope you enjoyed following me on my journey this semester as I explored some great web applications that teachers and other educators would find useful. Thank you and stay safe.
